Volunteer for the International Service Team

Are you ready to be part of something big?
Spejdernes Lejr 2026 will gather 30,000 scouts from Denmark and around the world — and we need you to help make it all happen!

We’re looking for enthusiastic international volunteers to join the International Service Team (IST).
As part of the IST, you’ll help create a once-in-a-lifetime experience for thousands of scouts by supporting all the practical and creative parts of the camp.

What will you do?

IST members work in many different areas — from cooking and logistics to construction and volunteer-/participant services.
When you apply, you can tell us about any special skills or areas of interest, and we’ll do our best to match you with a fitting team across camp.

Who can apply?

To be qualified to attend as a volunteer, you will be asked to complete the Safe from Harm training courses linked below and provide documentation of completion before arriving at the camp:

• Safe from Harm: Essential Learnings
• Safe from Harm: Advanced Learning for WOSM Volunteers and Staff

In addition, we will require a Letter of Introduction from your local WOSM or WAGGS International Commissioner.
The letter’s sole purpose is to establish the identity of the bearer as a member of either the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) or the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM).

You don’t need to speak Danish — English will be our common language among international volunteers.

Other than that, we just ask that you bring a positive attitude and an eagerness to contribute.
